About the Rapture Review
Video game stories have come a long way since the days of BattleTanx: Global Assault (there were a handful of contemporary standouts back in the day, but still), and while many gamers have become more sophisticated as well, there still seems to be a scarcity of thoughtful discussion and analysis of video game storytelling even as it continues to grow as an artistic medium.
I launched The Rapture Review to cultivate better discussion about story-focused video game experiences and to help gamers become more insightful in how we think about them.

About Me
My name is Jacob Chesky, and I’ve cared about both video games and stories ever since playing Jedi Power Battles on PlayStation 1 and reading The Chronicles of Narnia as a kid. Now I write about stories in video games when I’m not busy playing them or working my day job in marketing.
