Thank You
Thank you so much for taking an interest to find out more about me. My name is John Karnish and I am new to SteemIt. In fact I am still learning what I am doing and what this is all about.
My Goal For SteemIt
My goal for SteemIt is to post articles on personal development. I see my life as a work in progress. I just turned 44 and am happier than when I was in my 20s.
However, I still see a lot of areas for growth and I will be blogging about what helps me in my journey.
I will be writing on a series of topics including:
- Living a life of peace and joy
- Goal setting
- Health
- Stress
- Dealing with fear
- Dealing with depression
- The law of attraction
- More
My Immediate Goals
In the past whenever I created a project like this, my emotions got in the way and I never ended up following through. I realize if I can get my emotions under control, my other goals will naturally follow
The Sedona Method
The most powerful technique I found is called "The Sedona Method." It teaches you how to let go of limiting emotions and beliefs and experience the peace and joy that you are right in this moment.
It is a skill to be learned and I want to focus my attention on it. What's a better way to learn than by teaching it and sharing it with you?!
My first few articles will be on the Sedona Method and how to apply it to strong emotions, get emotional control when confronting problems and get narrowed in on goals.
A Little More About Me
I live in New Jersey and about a year ago married my beautiful wife who emigrated to the United States from Indonesia. We attend an Indonesian Pentecostal Church.
I struggled with my emotions for a large part of my life but now use my life experience to give support to other people who are suffering emotionally. This is what I do for work now.
I really like it but it is not a stable income so in the future I may have to move on or build a reliable second income.
Comment and Follow Me
Comment and follow me on my journey. We all have to live this thing called life and we all know ours could be better no matter how happy you are.
I'm sure many of the things I am writing on and trying to improve in my life you will be able to relate.
Hope you have a wonderful day and may many blessings follow you!
John
