My Introduction to the Amazing Steemian Community

Dear Steemian Community,

My name is Jonah Schulman and I am a Community Manager for Achain in USA. I am 21 years old, born in Chicago, and currently attend The University of Miami studying finance and economics.

My two passions are investing and fitness. My passion for investing began at the young age of eleven when I noticed my grandmother investing. I would constantly bombard her with questions about what she was doing. Ultimately, this led me to creating my own portfolio and managing it for the past 10 years or so. Over that time, I continued to improve my knowledge and understanding of the markets through books, mentors, internships, and various other avenues.

My first internship was with a non-profit helping with an endowment fund of over 1 billion in AUM. I learned invaluable information about the non-profit side of business. I took that knowledge and wanted to round out my knowledge of the investment industry by applying for internships on the for-profit side. I interned for Bank of America Merrill Lynch in the Private Wealth Management Department. It was here I learned about the for-profit side and learnt invaluable information here as well.

After these internships, my passion and love for investing grew tremendously. That is why becoming a cryptocurrency investor/enthusiast was a natural transition for me. Over the past several years I heard of bitcoin and other currencies but did not think it was significant in anyway. It was not until fairly recently I began to invest my personal wealth into the industry and realize how this industry is revolutionizing the world. One of the investments I made was with Achain, which happens to be the company I am working for currently.

Ever since learning about Achain, I knew this company was unique and had tremendous potential. I was wondering why they were not as popular as the other blockchain platforms. After speaking and working with the Achain team at the North American Bitcoin Conference, I learnt they have just begun to market Achain to the western world. That was one of the reasons I was hired; to help market Achain to the western world. It is truly a blessing to be a part of such a phenomenal team doing everything we can to expand Achain's exposure to the world.

My second passion is fitness. I was introduced to fitness by my friends about 5 or 6 years ago and ever since then I have been hooked. This passion led me to earning my NASM Certified Personal Training License. I am not going to talk about this very much but it is something I love. My main purpose here is to increase the awareness of Achain.

Here is a brief overview of Achain:

Achain is a public blockchain platform similar to Ethereum. It possesses its own token but is a blockchain at its core. Its platform allows for developers to seamlessly create their own blockchain (BAAS blockchain as a service), smart contracts, and dapps. Once a blockchain (sub-chain) or token is created within Achain, it is automatically integrated and connected to the already existing Achain main Network. This creating a constant growing P2P Network.
