I know I look like an Asian gangster in my display picture and all but,

The one wearing the brown jacket. Yeah I know, not exactly what you'd expect.

I want to keep this short so I'll try my level best to keep it sweet (no offense to any diabetic patients out there though) ;D

I'm a writer, not experienced

But none the less,

I am a writer of my own experiences.

You must by now be wondering who this BANJOP character is. Well let me answer that. Actually that's my real name.

And I hail from the beautiful hill station of Shillong which is in India, a little city among the hills,

Draped by lush pine trees

And rich culture

When I'm not in the house writing or helping out my dad with construction work, I'm out there performing every chance I get. I can't stay away from music because it's what drives my passion to write.

I feel writing without having an outlet to express those words by body and tongue is simply dull because words fall flatter than an Indian chapati without the curry. There's more to words than spellings and recitation. It's a gut feeling.

It's the art form of being drowned in a puddle of soul and getting overwhelmed by it.

I know I'm new here, but I'm just so humbled to be part of this wonderful family of steemitians.

My goal here is -

i. To share my writings of great thought and reflection and hope that those words resonate with you.

ii. To make as many friends as possible and in the process gain to learn a lot from each other.
It's going to be a marvelous journey.
