Hey,steemians i have been waiting for this opportunity to introduce my humble self to steemit community.wait for it, my names are Eferurhobo Joseph Ogheneovo popularly known as (stage name: Joey banks) is a multiple talented singer/producer who was born in the City of Ibadan Nigeria, as a set of twin into the family of Mr and Mrs Goodluck Eferurhobo from delta state Nigeria. Started music at a very young age of 12 in the church just like most musicians. Started playing the drums then later thought himself the piano which has helped and enhanced his music knowledge and ability to stand out as an extraordinary artiste.
Years before he rebranded and changed his name to Joey Banks he was popularly known as Joey Plus. In that he has been involved in a lot of music and artistry activities producing and releasing tracks that has enjoyed air play to some extent. In 2011 joey banks then joey plus became a winning producer of a talent hunt tv show sponsored by Nigeria breweries called “star quest” by mentoring and producing the winning band called “the B.E.A.T” which was one of the biggest talent hunt tv shows in the country at that time. In that same year he stated something special on social media called #joeytunesday where he was releasing a track every Tuesday for free download, went on for a while but stopped due to lack of support.
Before star quest Joey banks was in a group called skool boi. They released a mixtape called “skool boi in your yard” and did the” skool boi in your yard tour” across the country has also worked with the likes of Black face of the plantashun boiz, krazy culture, Sean Dampte, and a lot of upcoming artistes across the country and has also released a personal track titled “E No mata” at that time.
But since he became Joey banks he has released tracks like “Nana” “Leave story ft. Rhyusjones” “Shoma damo” and “Zombie”.
