Hi Everyone!, My name is Josh and I reside in South Africa. After a very unsuccessful schooling career (I was not academically active), I finally found ambition to do what I love, and that was to create content, travel and to work in the IT field (I just become excited when it comes to technology lol). Before I started that, I furthermore was enrolled into 2 years of studying CCNA & MCSA where I had dropped out half way through my second year to find myself a job.
After finding myself a job with flexible hours, I saved up some decent cash to buy myself a decent camera (Nikon D5100) where I could generate a 2nd income. With this, I threw myself at any opportunity I could just to make some extra cash on the side. This ranged from photoshoots, car events or just about anything.
Generating a decent income and feeling like I can actually achieve a goal if I push myself more and more each day , I started to exceed my limits and go all in within this field. I then hustled for a few months, putting a portion of my salary and profits made on the side for a new camera and extra equipment. I then sold my Nikon and bought myself a Canon 760D and a few other goods to step my game up a notch.
My Youtube journey has begun:
After a year of being on Youtube (Quite a challenging step to take when you have to build up the confidence lol), I had not found my niche. This resulted me being on a upload frenzy from vlogs with friends to cars to challenges. I then noticed all the traffic was focused onto my car videos, which was pretty awesome. When I had reached a 100 subs (I never though that this would happen) with such great support from my followers who are a a part of my success, I then went onto making videos / vlogs (Car based) every week.
This is my beloved VW, In South Africa is know as a Fox :).
To this day, I am posting videos every week on Youtube and educating myself in the field of trading and investing. I landed up on this platform after having a chat with a very good friend I met through Youtube, He is probably reading this right now lol, he goes by @NelkelJDM, he's an awesome person!.
My reason of joining the Steemit community , is to share my visual experiences on a new platform where I can learn from other members and possibly collaborate in the near future :).
