I came across steemit one night as I was searching the internet, I began reading about what it was, at first I thought it was just another forum that was upgraded. I was tired of the same, I have tried most of the platforms, but something felt different about steemit then I started reading posts and comments and felt like it was something different. I am sure there are plenty of negative comments and posts but the ones that I chose to read seemed full of excitement and promise of changing attitudes, the comments were encouraging, helpful and for the most part kind.
The only hesitation for me was the part about "introduceyourself" I remember thinking what the hell do I say, I don't even think I know myself. I know I like food, politics, history and the odd concpiracy theory, I also like challening other peoples ideas and thoughts. I saw all that in my brief glance at steemit and the hook was set.
We all Imagine that we know ourselves intimatley, some people are content when they reach this plateau. Some realize that the need for constant change and learning, evolve and shape our perception in many ways and in turn drives us forward with excitement to understand more about ourselves.
I do not know the beginning and I have no idea of the end, from conception to death only the middle part of life is truly known and lived.
For me, I have lived five decades with a different self throughout, always seeking something that may or may not be.
A new haircut, a new job, a marriage , kids, grand kids and new friends, all change our perception of ourselves. A new decade has begun for me and I anticipate finding another version of me somewhere or maybe I am who I am from conception and will not know my true self until the end.
I could tell you all the usual things, Male 6ft 190lbs, dark hair blue eyes (grey hair, green eyes) the point is if you are interested you can ask, you can search on social media for those types off clues as to who I am or you can simply enjoy my posts and comments , they will definitely show you a version of me, I'm not sure from what decade though so have fun.
