Hello, I'm Karyn Marquez and this is my presentation.

Hello to all Steemit members, my name is Karyn Samira Marquez Briceño, I am twenty-two years old, I was born on April 11, one thousand nine hundred and ninety five in a small town called Boconó Estado Trujillo – Venezuela

Currently I live in Maracaibo, I study nutrition and dietetics in the University of Zulia, the course the 7th semester (internships)

Since I was a child I would say that I would study medicine, when I finished my high school studies, I took the OPSU test, in which I had the great luck of being selected to study nutrition and diet at the University of Zulia, I was thinking about the possibility of making the change for medicine , but I got into my career, because it seemed interesting to me how what we ingest can determine our health, and how food undergoes reactions in our interior, generating enough energy to keep us active, allows me to help in a different way people around me.

A couple of months ago I had an unforgettable experience both in my career and in my life, I had the opportunity to participate in FUMPAR (foundation of parents and friends of adolescents and adults with intellectual disabilities) by offering educational sessions about the food spin. It was incredible to share with these wonderful people who, despite their situation, are full of love, love, enthusiasm and with that enormous desire to learn new things.

At the beginning, I tell you that I am a student of nutrition and diet but I imagine that I would like to know a little more:

¿What is the degree in nutrition and dietetics?

The professionals of nutrition and dietetics are concerned with studying the biological process through which the body metabolizes the nutrients that it ingests through food (fats, vitamins, proteins, carbohydrates, water and minerals) and transforms them into the necessary energy to stay in operation, likewise, they are dedicated to diagnose and treat those diseases caused by poor nutrition (obesity, malnutrition, diabetes and hypertension) as well as eating disorders (bulimia, anorexia, celiac disease, binge eating, among others)

Areas in which a graduate in nutrition can perform:

• Clinics.
• Educational.
• Sports.
• Food production industries.

I met this page through my friend Hive account@dojeda, I felt great interest in participating in it to share some knowledge acquired during my career that can be of great benefit to health, related to a good diet and apply according to the pathology that presents
