First post - What to think about money ?

I decided to close my bank accounts before leaving on a world tour the 23rd of March 2017. On the picture below, you can see how much money I had when I left :)

I need to understand alternatives I have. Ever since I read about the BIS (Bank for International Settlements) I kept thinking about the unfairness of the global monetary system. How opaque it is. Users of the currency have nothing to say about the system. The loop does not go back. You use my currency and... I don't care what you say.

Of course, I'm no expert. This is why I came here. I know people in the Steemit community are familiar with monetary systems. 

I decided to close my bank accounts because I don't want to participate in this system. I'm looking for alternatives out of state control. You could say it's naive. It's kind of an illogical and rational decision. After high school, I got into Economics in Paris and since high school, I learn by myself about finance, economy, and business. I get that money is only a social construct. I need to understand which social construct I want to use. I definitely don't like most currencies today.

I thought about Bitcoin, of course. Still, if I use a credit card to pay in a shop, isn't the credit card regulated by institutions regulations ?

While in Montpellier, I subscribed to this system called Cesium. French developers created this system. There is a basic income incorporated into it. Every users co-creates the currency everyday. A portion of the currency is redistributed everyday. I encourage you to explore this system, they made it transparent to understand the system.

I will gladly receive your help in building arguments around sharing economy, gift economy. I'll also need help in building arguments around stateless currencies.  Any help on that is much appreciated :D
