Intro- The beginning

Hello everyone! I am Kristy and am thrilled to be here.

For someone who is generally not a social media person, it didn't take a lot of convincing from my friend Hive account@ozd, who told me about the Hive blog before I decided to join. I stayed away from social media for a long time because I didn't know better uses of it and i wasn't disciplined enough to know when to stop- one challenge a lot of persons experience with social media. I wasted a lot of time just scrolling through those platforms, investing time with no returns. You know what is said about time, right? "Time is money." Now I have more self-control; I have learned to be more intentional with my online presence, sticking to a few platforms basically for communication purposes.

So imagine my excitement when I found out that I could network with people from all over the world, spread across diverse communities with different interests, choose which communities to belong to, share edifying and refreshing contents with the people, consume their contents as well (learn, unlearn, and relearn), and get returns for it. Awesome! I am not even going to pretend like that didn't catch my attention because it did.

That being said, I am excited to have this platform to share with you how I view the world around me as a creative who is blessed with many talents and one who has learned somethings about life, especially in the areas of identity, relationships, handling life crises, and gratitude, amongst many others. I love to share with people my experiences and what I have learned from them with hopes to shed light and provide solutions where possible and that I will be doing here.

Being someone who has a passion for crafting and DIYs (I have always loved to use my hands to create things), I am also looking forward to showcasing my handmade beaded bags and jewelry, other crafts as well as how to improvise or use alternatives means to get things fixed or done with you. This is going to be one interesting journey.
