Hi there, steemit community! A bit of honesty for starters... I have no idea what I'm doing! I just came across steemit via Instagram and it immediately appealed to me. I got approved today so I was thinking I can do this introduceyourslef thing and introduce myself!
It really is rather random because I am not a blogger, vlogger or anything like that. I used to blog when I was a teenager, it was in the blogger hype era and you know, collecting followers, comments etc., the teen thing to do. It was kind of fashion oriented but I feel a bit lame when I even think about it. But I never regret anythig so I'm proud of this part of my life too haha.
Well anyway, let's do the introducing part! My name is Kristyna, or Tyna, I'm kind of struggling with that at the moment actually, which is not important now but anyway...I've been called Tyna for ages but Kristyna is my proper name and I'm starting to reinvent myself kind of.
I get very easily interrupted so, that's why I couldn't be a proper blogger/vlogger/whatever. Yeah, let's move on with the introduction part again. I'm Czech, I've recently moved to Prague and I just love it here! I mean, Czechs aren't the easiest people but it's alright here for me. For now. Currently unemployed but looking into this assistance work with disabled people plus some part-time in a vegan café. Fingers crossed!
Name, location - well done, Kristyna! What defines me more tho? I like to think that labels are not fun and that they are not necessary but honestly, how else do you describe someone? I've been vegan for almost 3 years now which is definitely a big part of my identity as you know, you eat (at least) three times a day, it's a social activity, takes most of your time and money, etc. etc. and as it is a life philosophy and not just a diet it is logically connected to other things I care about...feminism, lgbtq+ community (yeah, I'm queer, hello there), poc communities, ecology, the disabled, the homeless, the refugees and yeah, I think you got the picture now ;) I've been quite lucky in my life and it just makes me happy to transfer my happiness to others.
Plus I really love coffee and beer and wine and other indulgent things. I like to party to electronic music until the sun goes up, I love just going to the woods and get lost and travel and explore and learn about new things and just get passionate about tiny things and moments.
Here's a picture of "me, drunk, with cucumber eye pads, eating vegan pringles in a hotel room in Berlin during my business trip with a job where I quit 2 weeks ago", so you know what I'm on about.
By the way, the "heavily procrastinating in the moment" in the title = I should be really studying right now as I have my master finals on Monday but this just seemed more fun you know (for obvious reasons)
I'll be happy for any feedback but don't know how this works yet sooo, I won't be heartbroken if nothing happens :D
If this post is completely out of anything that should be on here, someone please tell me :D Thanks!
xoxo, gossip girl
