My name is Michał, I am 34, for the last 8.5 years I have been working in the financial industry, specifically as Futures interest rates trader in the largest such a company in Poland and one of the largest in Europe OSTC.
Adventure the finance
I began my adventure with investments during my studies 11 years ago. My dorm-room mate showed me how to "make money on investment in funds" and he was able to encourage me to act in that direction. Since then I have continued to deepen my knowledge of finance and investment of all kinds. Studies in economics have definitely helped me in gaining knowledge in this field, but what is education without practice?
As I mentioned earlier, my practice started with investing in polish investment funds through the mbank investment platform. I then expanded the scope of my activity by investing in stocks on the Warsaw Stock Exchange and on the forex market. In the meantime, I worked as an accountant.
Following my passion
In 2008 I found a job in a day trading company and strictly calendar spread-trading company [OSTC]. From this time I could combine my passion and work :). I have been in this company for 8.5 years. It was not always colorful, there were ups and downs. One thing is certain I have learned a lot about investing on different global stock exchanges as well as investment psychology. I have had a lot of interesting training with top-class professionals. I met many wonderful people - great traders - professionals with whom I can constantly exchange experiences.
Cryptocurrency direction
The cryptocurrencies found a place in my portfolio in the middle of last year and immediately I became their big fan. I have noticed that my knowledge and experience allow me to transfer my trading strategies from the futures markets to the crypto market. It seems to me so far that day-trading in cryptocurrency area is much easier than forex or calendar spread trading. By the end of 2016 I decided to resign from the work of a "professional spread trader" and focus only on the cryptocurrency market. I am not an expert or a stock market specialist. On the financial market there is constant fight between bulls and bears for every penny and no one cares about doctors, professors or specialists. Finally it is all about money!!
