Hello steemit Azanda here,
Here is a introduction and I will be talking about what I know and do for a living, welding.
I became interest in becoming a welder and was inspired when I observed some welders living close to where I lived about five years ago, when I was a teenager.
I went into it because the place I live before was close to some welders workshops. When I return from school, I used to watch them from my house, at times they would ask me to help them do one thing or the other on site. There and then I began developing interest in welding and I started enjoying the smell of welders in the air. I thereafter told them I want to learn welding. They told me it’s not hard and that I can do it if I try. Miss Garzanda, helped me learnt the welding for two years between 2012 and 2013 and I completed the training.
I am here on steemit now first time now trying to share my story. I want to inspire other woman to be like me in a mans world. I work hard and I am good at it! I would like to start my own welding schools for woman as there is much unemployment by me.
My advice to women wanting to get into welding
Don’t be put off if you run into someone with a bad attitude to you. In my experience and country they are very much in the minority. And definitely go for it, there is no reason why you can’t be as good a welder as I am, plus its so much more fun than sitting in an office every day!
Please steemit I want to raise funds to start my own welding schools for woman. Help me raise funds!
