Hi Steemians, and welcome to my little blog!
My name is Sander van Leth, a 34-year-old games journalist from The Netherlands. Welcome to Leth's Rock, the little pebble I stand on while ruminating on games, the games industry and current trends in gaming overall.
I started my career in games journalism a little over two years ago. Before that, I studied game design and I've gamed as a hobby for as long as I can remember. While no means an expert in the field, I do think I have something to add to the community at large. It's because of this that I have decided to spend my spare time blogging. I feel blogging helps me form better informed opinions on difficult subjects, as well as a wider vocabulary to voice these opinions. They help me grow as a writer and instead of keeping it private, I aim to challenge myself and share it with you all.
On this blog you can expect to find previews, reviews and opinions on games. With opinion pieces in particular, I try to have a level-headed approach to all facets that may be in play. I invite healthy and polite discussions on the pieces I post here.
My English is self-taught, and as such there might be some grammatical errors and/or mix-ups between British and American English. My apologies in advance, and please do point them out if you find anything.
