Just a quick intro. I go by the pseudonym 
Our family have a little block in the city of Gawler, nestling on the edge of suburbia and at the gateway to the Barossa Valley. We call it 'Ligaya' (which means 'happiness' in Tagalog) and it's becoming a little bit well known when it comes to sustainability and all that.
Our block is just under half of one of the traditional quarter acre blocks and we have just 60 square metres of garden space to play with. We're getting the garden to provide for most of our food needs, (besides meat) and then provide excess that we can give away, barter, trade, whatever is needed.
We have a website www.ligaya.online where we keep folks up to date with our projects and provide a focus for other community members and co-authors.
Here on Steemit, I hope to share our adventures and efforts whith a whole new community. I'll be writing on herbs, urban farming, energy, water...all the good stuff!
