Hello everyone am new to steemit and this is my first post. My name is Grace Samuel. Am from Rivers state, Nigeria. Yea like the name implies my state is surrounded by a lot of water bodies that flow from the Niger Basin into the pacific ocean. You can guess that we have a lot of sea foods and lush vegetations as a result.
I graduated from the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria. I studied Linguistics and Communication studies. I wanted to study law or should i say my folks wanted me to study law but I always had a flair for writing articles and short stories- actually i have written a few that has not yet been published yet - so when a friend 
Apart from writing i also love learning new languages. As of now i can only speak English and French but i hope to extend my knowledge to as many foreign languages as possible.
One thing that always gets me piqued is the mystery behind nature. As much as i love it i have never been able to truly understand the mystery behind it. If you have ever seen the night sky and the beauty it radiates, the green vegetations, those tiny birds that sing so beautifully, you will discover that at such moments you tend to forget your present situation and just bask in the momentary peace.
Am very happy to finally be a part of the community and i hope to share as many experiences both personal and otherwise as time will permit.
