It is great to finally be here!
After three weeks of worrying if I would ever be accepted, I finally got the sweet email informing me that I was definitely in. This feels like a major step towards adulting - which is frankly, both exhilarating and terrifying.
I have a pretty darn long name but for my future friends, you can all call me Katie. :)
I just turned 22 but I can easily pass for 18 (or so I would like to think). I live in the Philippines and I can tell you that no, we are more civilized than you think and that yes, our country is absolutely gorgeous.

After graduating in Business Administration majoring in Marketing Management, I now work in a multinational company and it's definitely a struggle to climb up the corporate ladder but it's a challenge that I particularly enjoy. I have been writing since the age of 7 and this platform, more than anything else, just lets me do what I love the most!
I'm a pretty impulsive individual and I value my independence a lot. However, I'm a social creature and I would like nothing more than to meet smart and amazing friends here (bring it on community!). So if you love making/talking about money, food, history, arts, books, travel and generally about life itself - just let me know! :)
