Hello everyone!! My name is Luis, I am 29 years old and I was born in Portugal, I’m an affectionate by history, archaeology, photograph arts and travel. The main aim for this project is to share with you the experience I get from remote places I travel to, so if you ever have the chance to visit those places you can get the best of it! I try to avoid most of the touristic route, so that I can embrace local traditions, customs, food, etc (and if I may say so is the way I get the most of the fun).
The main addressed subjects will be (and I leave you a little sample here of what is going to be like):
Travel
Here is a photo of he Santiaago de Compostela Cathedral (Spain, Galiza). I’ve been in Santiago de Compostela several times, it’s a city with lots of history and aancient traditions, many of them religious, it is the final destination of a great pilgrim’s way that is called the Way of Saint Jaims or Camino de Santiago.
Traditions
This picture represents a Portuguese tradition where the college graduates celebrate their academic achievements. All the universities gather in the city’s downtown for a big parade. This image, in particular is from Oporto, Portugal.
History/Nature
This look like a landscape, but it is more than that. As the title suggests it is a natural site but also a historical place, since these mountains used to be a roman gold digging site. As the time passed, nature managed to change the site’s natural aspect.
Food
Within this picture you can find a very typical dish from Galiza, Spain, namely: “Caldo Galego” (Something like Galego’s Soup). I meet this dish under very funny circumstances that I can tell about later.
I hope you enjoyed my introduction, to count on your experience and own adventures and that we can all share our adventures and experiences together.
