Hi, I am Manan and this is my first blog post, not just on steemit, but anywhere. I have been thinking to start writing for a long time now, but never did for many reasons. I'm a college junior and to me, writing seems to be analogous to going out in the world and facing life.
One of the main reasons is the fear that I am going to be just another voice, trying hard to be heard. Just another normal guy, dreaming to make it big. I keep thinking, I don't have anything to give to this world yet, what am I going to write about.
But, then I thought, don't most of the people start at the bottom. I understood that everyone has a story to tell, whether it be about their travels, music or anything. Every one has something to give to this world. Every light that flickers, can turn into a flame that lights up the sky.
