Hello, Steemit!
So excited to be here. My name is Marie, but most of my friends call me Jay (a joke that started way back in middle-school, maybe I'll write that story someday!).
From what I've read this community is the place to be on social media. I enjoy meeting new people and reading their stories. (Well, I like to read a lot in general.) My friends tell me I'm a gifted writer, but all that I've written so far are e-mails, so I don't know about blogging. Fingers crossed.
When I will find the courage, I plan to write about tons of things. I'm very curious by nature and I'm interested in all sorts of things, like history, weird news, paranormal and fun stuff.
I hope to make tons of new friends on Steemit and have some fun. I do need something good in my life, because at the moment I'm stuck with a boring job, cannot afford to rent a place of my own - oh, well I don't think you're interested in my personal problems and I promise I'll not be boring you with them in my posts!
Please say hello to this adorable little monkey down below. It's called a tamarin monkey and lives in South America. My dream is to go see tamarins in their natural habitat, but for now I collect images. (Have a dedicated folder on my PC).
