Good morning, afternoon, or evening where ever you may be, my name is Thomas and I am very excited to be a part of Steemit! Upon joining I’ve heard so much about the Steemit platform and the opportunity that we all have here as Steemians. As I continued to browse Steemit it was very apparent that the community is what keeps this ecosystem live and strong. The community here is wonderful, home-like I could even say, and I look forward to contributing to that growth as much as possible.
Here's a picture of me and my dad!
As a fellow member of the Steemit community known as , my objective is to slowly but surely provided high quality educational content without all the unnecessary textbook jargon. Essentially, I will be translating textbook language over subjects like Algebra, Probability Theory, Statistics, Calculus, Physics, and other Engineering related subjects into plain English. I will also be talking about how these disciplines relates to cryptocurrency, our everyday life and why things work the way they do!
Keep in mind my posts will not be limited to STEM subjects (Science Technology Engineering and Math). Occasionally I will also talk about other things, such as cryptocurrency trends, life, entertainment, food, video games, etc. however I hope to do so in a manner where all of my posts will make sense and come to good use!

I've plan to do these things because as a junior in college I understand the confusion many students get when they're forced to read boring textbooks, or the frustration of not understanding a subject. Many students do not enjoy these subjects and I don’t blame them.
If you’re forced to read about Math and it’s not made interesting it will surely bore you to death. You don’t even have to be a student to relate to this, at work; if you’re forced to learn something without a good instructor and book it can feel like an eternity learning it. That's where I hope to come in. If my posts make subjects you find boring, interesting, then I've succeeded!
An old college professor once told me: "The best way to learn, is to learn how you learn, then from there, there's nothing you can't learn."
Anyways that’s enough about me. Thanks for reading. Here's to new beginnings!
