Welcome to THE Minnesota Wild Steemit Beat Blog.
Steemit and Smart Media Token integration is the future of online print media and I want to join the revolution early.
What better way to combine my love of the Minnesota Wild with my love of Steemit blogging by creating this.
Let's do this!
Who am I?
Hai. I'm Andie Sawmill and I'm an alcoho... I mean, a digital media aficionado and budding sports beat journalist with a passion for the Minnesota Wild. You can find me lurking around hockey Twitter on the handle @andiesawmillus.
This is a photo of me working in the Canadian forest as a logger before Steemit and this absolutely revolutionary crypto/blockchain technology gave me the opportunity to finally use my intellect rather than my biceps:
With a passion for physical hockey and the veteran grinders that make a career out of doing the little things that put the stars in a position to look good (think Stephane Veilleux and the like), you don't have to worry about me getting lost in the dreamy eyes of superstars like Zach Parise.
God I love that big, red stallion!
Anyway... As I was saying, I'm not here to stick to the mainstream narrative. If there's an alternative narrative then I'm going to write about it.
Hit that follow button and join me for the ride.
Why you Should Follow the Minnesota Wild, Steemit Beat Blog
With no affiliation to any official media outlet that relies on keeping their good reputation for the advertising revenue that continues to dry up, Steemit will allow me to say whatever the fuck I want, whenever the fuck I want, without having to worry about who doesn't like it.
The idea is that hopefully my writing style and ability to offer something totally different to the other beat writers going about the circuit will make the Minnesota Wild Steemit Beat Blog so enticing for you to read.
Not to mention the fact that for the self proclaimed 'State of Hockey', there seems to be a mighty newspaper beat coverage power vacuum now that our main man Russo has gone to some ridiculous online subscription based website.
A website called the Atlantic that runs a subscription model for their news, lol? Yeah, because that's so profitable for everyone else and there's such huge demand... LOL!
You want somewhere that pays to write, read and simply curate quality hockey content then Steemit is the place for you.
So get an account and join the sport media revolution!
Draft Blog Posting Format
I haven't fully settled into the format that I want to post yet, but this is what I'm thinking:
- Daily headlines and links.
- Results and Game thoughts.
- Succulent opinion based blogs.
- Sartos' hockey betting picks.
Anything else I'm missing then please do let me know.
We'll see what comes of the Minnesota Wild Steemit Beat Blog throughout the season but for now give us an upvote, smash that follow button and lets talk some hockey!
Andie.
