Yes you read right, shame on me! I joined steemit more than a year ago and neglected this wonderful community that offered me the opportunity to be a better me.
I was so blinded by my chase for immediate wealth that I neglected building the connections that were so readily available within the steemit community.
During the time I have been chasing shadows because I lacked patience and wanted to make quick money, I have succeeded in losing not just time and money, but I went through depression due to losses I suffered.
My name is Emenike, I am a Nigerian who thinks cryptocurrency and the blockchain is one of the best things to have happened to the world, largely because of the unlimited opportunities it is capable of offering; alongside the fact that it is a technology that can be used to boost whatever sector of the economy it is deployed.
Most of my post here on steemit would be centered around the blockchain and my other areas of interest such as poetry and songwriting and life in general.
I am looking forward to forming connections from people all over the world.
I apologize for staying away so long dear steemians, but I am here now and need all the encouragement I can get. Hopefully this will be the beginning of the most fulfilling years of my life as well as that of those I get to form connections with here on steemit.
Here is me kneeling and asking forgiveness.
In Nigeria, when you kneel to apologize for wrongdoing, it shows your humility and remorsefulness and it makes the person you offended more likely to forgive your transgressions.
Currently I am trying to find the best ways to connect with people of like minds on steemit and so far I have seen a couple of people I'd like to connect with via #wafrica, which is a channel dedicated to curating and promoting content by steemians from West Africa. Also channels like ,
,
, #adsactly and some others have caught my attention. I intend to follow up on the individuals that make up these communities. I have got my fingers crossed and I'm hoping for the best experience with these communities!
