Hi my name is Murray, I am 30 years old and married with 3 children I am very new to blogging, this being the first one I have ever written. I work in the oil and gas industry and have done for 12 years. Over the last few years this industry has seen the worst ever downturn in my 12 years and it has been very hard on a lot of people. I am very lucky to still be involved working offshore and find I have free time after my shifts have ended, as I work away from home on a 30 day on/off rotation. During the last year or so I have been looking to diversify and gain some extra income. This has led me on an internet journey and eventually I have landed here on Steemit. My plan was to blog about my internet journey which led me to cryptocurrencies and also my attempt at starting a small drone business based in the UK. Hopefully it might be of some use to somebody thinking along the same lines, and I guess everyone has to start somewhere.
