Hi Steemians, my name is Natasha Elena Martínez Arana, I like sports, reading, eating, singing and among other things. Since I was little I dreamed of singing, not basically to be famous, but because music seems to me the best way to express something, so we are from different religions, nationalities, languages, music will always have the same message for everyone, it changed my life.
I was born and raised in Aragua, Venezuela in a humble town, where before there was no internet, courses, there was nothing, the first time I had a musical instrument in my hands was when I was 4 years old, a relative gave me a Venezuelan cuatro, I didn't know how to play it but I had some relatives who knew about the instrument but they lived far away, every time I had the chance to see them, I told them to teach me something, that's how I learned my first chords.
When I was 7 years old, a teacher came to my school to teach music, he taught us was about the Venezuelan cuatro, he said that if we had the possibility of carrying a cuatro, because the resources were not enough, after a time teaching he retired from high school, after that moment I was a little sad, I had nowhere to learn.
When high school intercourse games arrived, it served for culture in general and sports, Sometimes they asked me to show up to do a performance, I told them that I didn't know much because I don't master the instrument very well, I felt ashamed but they encouraged me, they told me that everything had to be tried, I tried and it went well.
I always liked it but I never had the chance to enter a course, because where I live there is no place where I can learn, I have practiced on my part, I don't have the resources to pay for a course, I accompany myself with the little I learned from the cuatro, in the future I would like to be able to sing better and enter a course, I will not give up because it's my dream.
