Hi there! I want to introduce myself.... better late than never #introducemyself.
My name is Nelson from Caracas, the craziest and more wonderful city I know.
For those of you that haven't still heard about us, Caracas (ccs) is the capital city of Venezuela, located at the north center, so close to the sea (20 min by car) and still surrounded by a amazing mountain chain (yes, is a valley).
As why am I here?, I guess as many of you, because it is new, looks promising and the posts are Authentic!, organic, mean to be read and thought.
Professionally, I am in science, physics.
Have a 5 years bachelor's degree in physics at the UCV (Central University of Venezuela).
I also have a PhD in theoretical physics, during which I spent a lot of time in a small, a bit cold, but great city in France, Nancy.
Is the home of some great personalities, like Henri Poincare (for those who love mathematics and physics) and Michele Platini (Yes, the football player!).
At the moment I work as a professor at the UCV, teaching and researching as much as I can. I really love it!
I enjoy photography! Of course as an amateur, but still, it feels great to capture a moment with as many sensations as you can.
To finish, I need to confess, I have an "excessive" interest in modern philosophy and large masses psychology, I have no idea why. So I try to read as much as my other duties allow.
