What’s up Steemit?

My name is Nino, I am a student from Austria, a hobby photographer and a travel enthusiast. A few days ago, I went out with my friends Hive account@bypaul and Hive account@gerryk for a little photoshoot and they told me about this amazing platform they recently discovered. As soon as I got home I signed up and now after waiting for the approval (which felt like an eternity!) I am finally part of this community!

I first got into photography when I was backpacking in Colombia and Ecuador a few years ago. It was my first time in Latin America and I was stoked about the countries, the culture and all the new people and places I got to know. Back then I just travelled with a Sony Point-and-Shoot Camera and overwhelmed by all the unforgettable impressions I tried to capture as many moments and memories I possibly could.

Since then travelling and photography are my two great passions. I love Latin America and I have been in Mexico and Central America several times. Three years ago, I started learning Spanish in Guatemala and spent a year living in El Salvador and travelling around Central America, capturing photos with my Olympus OMD-EM5.

I am planning to post photos and stories about my recent, past and upcoming travels (hopefully to Peru and Bolivia!) in Latin America and perhaps add some photos from weekend trips in Austria and Europe.

I hope you like my content and I am looking forward to meeting some other Latin America Freaks.
