What is a Wendilly?
Like Brangelina, but better.
What do they "do"?
Wen is an overachieving outdoorsy citizen scientist from Brooklyn, NY, with a fulfilling job that her immigrant parents are kinda-probably-still-not-yet-totally proud of. DL works with buildings in random countries around the world, hailing from a mixed-race expat family that imparted a semi-identity crisis of which he embraces and appreciates most of the time.
Are they dating?
They are indeed partners in life and love!
How did they meet?
They owe their serendipitous beginnings to a hostel in Barcelona circa 2012. Wen was backpacking with a college friend from NYC, while DL was doing the same from London. They returned to their separate lives, but kept in touch for 4 years. One day, DL moves to the States and Wen reunites with him in person. Since then, many adventures have brought them closer together. Following a relationship defining 13-state road trip, moving to/ living in 4 different cities together-but-not-really, and finally settling in the South (?!) temporarily, they are happy.
What are their hopes, plans, and dreams?
To be grateful, to live intentionally, and to embrace the natural, nomadic, and curious dispositions they have for the world, and with the world.
