First, I'm thankful to be a part of the steemit community. I'm excited for your posts, inspirations and knowledge about various topics as well as to experience steemit's growth.
To myself: I've always been open minded, adventurous and curios about life, other cultures and seeing more of the world. In February 2017, my boyfriend and I moved from Germany to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Living in Malaysia now, we travel and like to discover more of the southeast Asian world whenever possible. Besides cities and cultural themes, we're especially interested in nature like the rainforest, mountains, volcanos, the ocean, the corals and for sure all the animals. As we are also enjoying photography, we are happy to share our photos with you.
In addition to traveling, nature and photography, I also like to keep my fitness level up and to lead a healthy lifestyle. This is a passion of mine, that I'm excited to share with you as well. My main fitness I'm currently focussing on is Budokon yoga (my boyfriend is a Budokon teacher), Muay Thai and calisthenics. I also love to dance and I'm open to try new sports and fitness. Furthermore, I'm curios about nutrition and how to nourish the body well ("Let food be thy medicine" - Socrates). Momentally, I'm trying out a somewhat vegetarian version of a ketogenic diet.
Last but not least, I'm always willing to learn - with a lot of interest in positive psychology, humanity and evolution. This is my third passion that will probably slip a little bit into my posts :-)
To end my "introduce yourself, I' have a saying for you:
"And then I realized, adventures are the best way to learn (unknown)".
In my opinion this is somewhat true. Adventures by definition can be anything that is exciting or unusual to you. Personally, the experience of parts of the Bornean rainforest and its inhabitants gave me an opportunity to learn many valuable things I'm thankful of. Also, the Muay Thai training (I joined it a bit more than one year) and Budokon, give me the chance to experience myself in different roles: Like discovering more strength and braveness or even a "warrior-side" in myself.
So, I hope I can inspire you to go on adventures, whatever you're definition of adventure and what your desire in experience is, and that I can encourage you to grow :-) Have a happy day everyone.
