Hello, my name is Tom and I am writing myfirst post from Oklahoma City, OK.
I discovered Steemit within the last year and have been curious about it. I have an interest in cryptocurrency-mainly Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin, and some platforms that use coins, such as Castbox, Lbry, and now steemit with working applications to the blockchain environments.
Aside from the blockchain environments, I also have an interest in technology, as a hobby and working in the industry. At home I have an interest in things like the Raspberry Pi and it's practical applications, and keeping up with the everchanging technology advancements.
I also enjoy reading for fun and for learning, listening to music, concerts, watching tv shows and movies (at home and in the theater), traveling ( an occasional roadtrip here and there), going to museums, learning about alternative energy (wind power, solar power, electric cars) and space travel.
I'm not sure how I will contribute to the Steem community, but am interested and learning and posting. Thank you for reading and I hope to see you in your posts!
