I am very new to steem, permit me to introduce myself as directed by the steem guide prior to my sign up and login.
How did I arrive at steemit?
I learned about this superb steem blockchain through my friend. He shared with me his love for blogging and his ideas towards changing the mindset of his society through blogging and inspiring articles.
Why this post?
Since my encounter with him, I had no idea on how to start but thanks to this steem blockchain that through it's welcome note and steem guide I have been oriented on what to do, what not to do and to introduce myself to this great community. So I have decided to start hence this post.
Why am I called Paul?
Having read about the exploits of saint Paul, his works and write ups (after Christ death) to different places in the world compelled in the Bible I see reason why I was named Paul.
I believe that whatever we say maybe forgotten but whatever we put to pen stays and is remembered. In Light of this, I have written articles and printed leaflet which is shared in school containing in most cases God's love for us, Living the Good Life and youth mentality.
However, am a student, am the Second son in a family of six. And I feel through blogging and write my voice can be heard, thereby effecting a change in the mindset of my fellow youth and in my little way inspiring them.
What am I to my school community?
I am a voice beckoning on them to remember their Creator (God) and inspire them. To some I bring moments of joy and laughter through Jokes and school gossip while to others I bring news within our department in school posted on notice boards (Petroleum/Chemical Engineering, University of Uyo, Nigeria).
