Hello everyone! I am Persius, as many may have guessed by now. I am currently 34 years old. I am a bit impatient and busy at times. I love many things in life. I joined in November of 2017. I started slow and spent many months away from this platform. What brought me back to it was my heavy interest in the EOS project. I found myself soon able to be in the same chats as Dan Larimer on the Telegram application, who is a very cool guy by the way. When I found out Steemit was his project also, I really became interested even more in returning to Steemit. So, here I am again. I have been very inspired by the multitudes of wonderful people I have been privileged to meet. So far what I have learned from the whole crypto-currency community is that it doesn't matter who you are, whether you are glamorous or not or whatever really. If you illuminate whatever you're best at in this space, you will find success as long as we have the right attitude. I admire you all. Daring to defy the legacy system that gives us mountains of "cant dos". You break the chains, you do it in spite of what the naysayer says. You are making the difference.
When we stumble, just realize that in that moment we are only learning where to gain our footing to take our next step forward!
How It All Started
I have been privileged most of my life to build relationships with very unique and knowledgeable individuals☺. When I began my journey in the financial sector of my life, I did so working for a very large Fortune 500 Bank. As a loan officer there, I began various activities working within credit, personal and student loans. I met a gentleman named Jim, who I will never forget. He taught me the first things I ever learned about markets, investing and the stock markets. I would go on to learn much more. We ended up buying a lot of Bank of America shares at around 3$ a share in early 2009 and sold near 18.00 per share about 7 months later. I was hooked!! Then came all the terrible things that happened with the housing crisis and the credit crunch as well. The party was over. I began to detest the banking system, They treated people terribly. I quit.
Moving On
I must say that once I escaped the beast system, life was much better. I spent the next few years sampling beers around a campfire. Occasionally I went to see some live music as well but overall, I was enjoying life. I looked at the legacy trading system through the eyes I had focused so well a few years before. It sickened me. I was starting to see the world for what it really was in my eyes. I focused on all the negative things I could see in the world and sorted them out my own way. In my own mind. I believe that the best way to address something is to look it in the eye. It has no power over you at that point forward. Believe me, the rabbit hole has no bottom. I will leave it at that. Sometimes to find the light we have to be able to know the dark as well. Now I knew what real freedom was. I will explain more another time
I Found Cryptocurency
I saw a report on the internet, randomly, about some crazy gains of Bitcoin and Ethereum stocks. I had never heard of it before. How long had I really been out of the game?.. I asked myself. This side article, which was actually click bait for a Motley Fool investment ad, also mentioned Ripple as well as having future potential. At that time I had a serious interest spring up within my mind. So I went to find out more. I landed on You Tube. It was at this time I found . What a unique trading style he has, was what I was thinking. Wow, how volatile! I decided to go for the money and re-enter into the trading markets. What is a fake invisible digital wallet? What in the world is a private key? A key on my computer? I was in over my head already and had not even found an exchange. Mind you, I spent more time hiking in the woods and socializing than paying any attention to any tech related materials. So I went out to seek help.
Where I am Now
I landed on another You Tube channelThese pictures are all mine, I snapped them all by myself
