Hi, my name is Bibi also known as PoeticSnake. I am a female from the Netherlands and I am here to share parts of my life and interests. I already wrote a short post to introduce myself but at that time I had no clue how to upload pictures and how this Steemit site really works. I guess, well I know for sure that I was too eager to post. I think some of you all will recognize this bad bad behavior. Lucky for me I learn fast and also found out that you can't delete any post you make. ( Big foolish me) I really should learn to have more patience with these kind of things. In result I had to post some things a few more times. :D

I love to write and I published a few short books, 3 short story books about horror/fantasy and one poetry book. They are written in English and I thank the lord for a great editor! English can be such a tricky language for us who are not used to always using it. I also love to write poems, most of them could be labeled under dark writings but every now and then some happy poem flies from fingers.

I also love to draw and paint. It's a way for me to express my emotions just as in writing but while drawing I calm myself down while I push myself more into stress mode during writing. I like draw anything and everything from animals to dancing couples or just little funny faces that make me happy.

I love reading and books will always make me smile. I love those books made of real paper so that you can smell them before you start to read. I can really drift off into bliss while I am reading a good novel and have some cookies with tea or coffee. Hours and hours I spend in my favorite corner of the couch reading the most amazing stories written all over the world. I still refuse to buy a kindle but part of me knows that one day I will fall and spend some more money on books, E-books that is.

I am also a addict! Oh yes I am. I smoke, I run on coffee most of the time and there is not one day going by without some Netflix.

So, what will I be sharing here? I aim to post my poems and some short stories but also pictures of my daily life with my animals and drawings. Next to posting myself I really look forward to reading many many posts in all kinds of forms.
