Hello everyone! For those of you who haven't checked out our podcast or other media, here is a little bit about us and or team!
Life long punk musician and activist Matt Bergman founded Punk Rock Libertarians in 2010 with a Facebook page under the same name.
When the page began to pick up steam, Matt brought Jared Schneiderman on board to help build a website.
A year or so later, Matt had a chance encounter with author and journalist John Vibes at Porcfest X, and when we learned that we lived close to one another, we began to work on building Punk Rock Libertarians.
Naturally, we began to record our many conversations about liberty, and we ended up with a podcast. Since then the podcast has become our main focus, and we rock out every single Sunday night with a rotating cast of dissenters. We are excited to be bringing our podcast to DLIVE, DTUBE, and DSOUND!
In essence we believe in freedom. "Freedom" has become a very vague, shallow word today in the midst of American politics, used by both parties in attempts to sell what ever bullshit cause they are pushing at the time. What is true freedom? True freedom is quite simple. A individual can do whatever he or she wants until it interferes with another individual's freedom. Down with victimless crimes, war mongering, the patriot act and the federal reserve.
