**GREETINGS AND SALUTATIONS FELLOW STEEMIANS.**

I've been active on Steem for almost two months now and haven't introduced myself yet. So today I'm going to correct that.

I'm the psychoswordsmith from Bangalore, India

So I primarily write short fiction stories but will occasionally throw in the odd review or blog if the fancy strikes me.

I've been writing on the internets for a while now. I originally started with a WordPress blog waaaay back in 2015.

Suffice to say that it didn't do too well.

Then about a year ago, my good buddy Hive account@ankursengupta, told me about Medium. So I set up a profile there and kept on trucking.

It went a little better this time. Medium has a way of connecting people to the content they want and it really helped me find an aaudience.

But it was still lacking something; an incentive model of sorts to reward writers.

And then Steem came along.

And while Steemit might still be in beta and kinda clunky I've got hope for it. This can be the thing that finally lets us be free to create all that we can dream of.
