Hello everyone,
I am Ratko, and I am involved in the whole Blockchain story from 2014. A Steemit member from 2016 (although not very active). And an art lover, in a sense.
Short history of Ratko
Life
Born in a war-torn country, became a refugee at the age of three. Was a well-behaved child, bookworm and awfully clumsy. Graduated college, Computer Engineering, but never worked in the field really. Had a girlfriend once or twice. Now I am single, which is a very awkward (and mandatory) topic to discuss with aunts during the holidays. I have a cat and a dog, and the dog always wants to eat the cat making me look like a bad owner. That is basically it.
Career
I have started as a writer of IT-related content and then moved to Blockchain and crypto. I liked the concept and never really looked back. During the years I held various positions in marketing, co-authored two books about cryptocurrencies and finally opened my own company. You can read more about me on my LinkedIn profile if you are interested.
Health
Had Asthma. Hairy. Have some strange disease that will make me deaf over the course of ten years. And then they will do surgery on me, and I will hear better than ever (if I understood correctly). Neck pain from computer usage. Other parts work, although I do need one tooth implant.
And here is the picture of me, proving that I am a real person.

So, now you know more about me.
But,
That is not only reason why I am here.
I came here to make something that I wanted to do for a long time now. I want to write about lifting things to another level. About not conforming with the average and turning everything we do into the art. Making life more enjoyable with just a little bit of extra effort. You know, things like -
Want to make a cup of tea? Well, how about the best cup of tea in the whole world?
I want to write about improving every single little thing we do. About turning a meal, a bath or a night of heavy drinking into a small ritual that would make us slow down and enjoy those moments to the fullest. Different ways to do it, explanations, a bit of history... All the good stuff.
And don't get me wrong, it will not be all about making drinks and rituals - I will try to learn and pass the knowledge of all the everyday things and habits that we can turn into art. I am pretty sure it is possible to turn almost anything into art - every object, every move, every action. So I will try to do that.
Expertise
Regarding my expertise - well, I do not have any. I did learn how to make good Turkish coffee, and I do have some knowledge about enjoying in small pleasures in life, but that is as far as it gets. The good news is that I genuinely want to learn and share all kinds of wonders with the community. And I think it could be a pretty good thing to do.
Of course, you can count on my help if you get stuck in any step of the process. I know it sounds highly unlikely to get stuck while doing trivial things such as the ones I mention, but still - if you do get stuck, feel free to ping me any time.
As an example of my dedication, here is a GIF made by one of the guys in the community that I managed on Telegram. I was always an OK guy.

Monetary matters
Also, I have to be honest with you. I would like to make a little bit of money from all of this. I need to buy crypto during the next year or so because I want to get my own place and live happily ever after. The plan for making money is simple - besides steem bucks I will hopefully get from you lovely people, in each article I will post just a few links to products that could help to get the experience to the next level. Like - an Amazon link to some fantastic teapot. It will not be spammy or anything, just two or three links for those that would maybe want to own these stuff. Or, if you are against it, maybe we can find some other way.
Conclusion
Well, that would be all for now. I am pleased to meet you all, and I hope we will be friends. Or at least pals. Buddies maybe?
In any case, have a great day. And happy holidays!
