Hello Steem family,
Allow me to introduce this amazing three year old pit bull that is literally amazing, This multi skilled dog can climb any fence and most trees, He is also a great swimmer, And a big part of my life!
He literally changed my life for many reasons one of those reasons is that emotionally they are more aware than we are, We ignore what they pay attention too, so having gone thru some chaotic events my dog (sun) made me aware of all the uncured emotions I had within myself.
Thru key subtle changes in his behavior I can see where I need to adjust my behavior and that helps calm my inner chaos down to almost a non existing amount and in do time I feel like I will recover one hundred percent.
What can we learn from dogs
I know what some are thinking "how can I possibly learn from my dog"
Well there is lots to learn from your furry little pal
For starters even though dogs get in to scuffles they don't judge, they don't care if your smelly, broke, ugly or not wearing the latest trending outfit, all they care about is that their families boundaries are respected and that no perceived threats to his family arise and by perceived threat I mean an immediate physically harmful event not because of a suspicion or to be spiteful.
so why do some dogs bite?
Think about it? If you were put in to a cage and beat, abused and starved and you managed to break free from that environment would you trust humans, cats, dogs since you don't know were harm might come from you would just attack anything to try to survive.
So what are you trying to say
What I am saying is hate is a tough emotion dogs and humans learn hate and fear thru their peers and parents and the environment their raised in.
Those prejudice are further catalyzed by certain events coinciding with their believes like a certain uneventful situation happening with someone of a different race than yours that leads you to reinforce your parents or peers prejudice against people or even animals.
Generally speaking most dogs will play and associate with most dogs even against the owners wishes, yes their is a hierarchy amongst animals but it has nothing to do with race, believes or financial status its based more on their immediate territory but if placed in common ground like a dog park most of the time they get along great their is exceptions, but its usually the owners and not the dogs.
My final though
It would be nice if we start putting effort in to getting along with others the same way dogs do.
During human civilization hunter gatherer period it's safe to say that without our fury companions, we would not be as advanced society as we are today, We all have a great deal of gratitude to show our fury little friends and they deserve that appreciation. you'll come to find out that their one of the most loyal beings around.
