Hello folks,

I hope you guys are doing fine. Last week i joined steemit finally after hearing from lot of peeps about it. I was fond of cryptocurrencies since last year and started gathering information about it. However, someone gave me a suggestion to try steemit as it is the future of social media.

When i wrote steemit.com and clicked enter, i saw the home page and my mouth stayed open for like 5 minutes.

There were so many posts and all of them have earned $1000s of dollars just by writing and people doing their passion. It was just like reddit but so much better (because it involved money ofcourse) .

And i thought to myself that it is such a great idea. I dont have great passion to write, but i really love to share infromation with other people about what i know and gather info as well. It is all circle of knowledge.

I have a youtube channel with almost 204K subscribers and i created my account in 2014 and i really sturggled to get noticed and i know if earning money and also doing what you like would have been so easy then everyone would have been doing it.

I tried my best and made a couple of videos and reached to this milestone by today.

I love doing this job as i am my own boss and nobody can tell me what to do. Same is the case with steemit.com, people expressing themselves and making friends and even doing this a full time job.. i mean... # how cool is that

This is what i have earned from youtube till now in 3 years.

Right now i am working at a hotel as a front desk as well because i want to keep a security as well on the side if ever i lost my youtube channel or something happens.

Now i am joining and becoming the part of this community and i hope that i will meet great people here and share great ideas and i hope to do this as my full time job and quit everything else
