Hello Steemit!
Very Excited to use the steemit platform
Software Engineer here in the FinTech Space researching blockchain. I have about 10 years experience writing and deploying web based software using all types of cool tech that way smarter people than me developed. I've never went outside of my wheel house of distributed web/cruddy relational/nosql database apps so blockchain seems to be a good way to do less of the usual and go outside of my comfort zone. The decentralized nature of blockchain fascinates me. My goal is to be as cliché as possible and learn blockchain and other technologies by blogging about them, see the Feynman Technique video posted below.
Here are a list of the following topics I plan on learning and blogging about.
- Blockchain and the nitty gritty implementation details
- Latest ecmascript
- Angular2
- Ethereum and Dapp Development
- Machine Learning
- The intersection of Blockchain and Machine Learning
I know this is setting my bar pretty high but you know the saying shoot for the stars...cliche cliche cliche
Hopefully this catches on. Everything except for blockchain and Dapps I have experience with and I have a computer science background so I don't think it will be me entirely me merely parioting what I hear. I encourage my co-workers, question everything that seems a bit fuzzy, keep me honest! I'm sure the internet is much less forgiving than what I'm used to so this should be fun!
I'll be going to a local Ethereum meet up tomorrow night and plan on sharing the information gathered from there.
Feedback is encouraged
- I want to sharpen all my skills be it tech, language or otherwise.
Random Disclaimer
I have never blogged before and have been told I'm a horrible teacher. But always thought doing both would be be a good idea. So I'm sure in the beginning it is going to be horrid. My spelling is terrible, and I use words that seem like they should fit, but my usage is laughable. This is a completely selfish endeavor, I hope to gain writing skills , teaching, and some of these tech skills along the way. If someone else benefits its completely by accident. Also the incentives on this site make a person like me who has always thought writing a blog is a good idea in theory but never got off his arse to do anything about it. I really hope this works out!!
Please excuse my sarcasm, i'm not that terrible of a person
