My name is Rosemarlines and I'm so happy to be here.
First of all, my apologies for not doing the traditional posting of a picture of myself holding a paper with my steemit username and logo on it while writing my introductory post.
Well, unless Steem doesn't mind a complete redesign of it's logo, I could try again - I'm just kidding 😁.
Anyway, having had no one to take a picture of me and my sign, I literally thought to leave my pretty self out of the picture entirely.
Yes, I know about camera timers and selfies. #Grins .
But then, I I'll still post a picture of me doing that pretty soon when I eventually learn how to draw the logos perfectly well and have someone take my picture.
I am a 20 something years old female who speaks fluent sarcasm and enjoys a witty conversation. I love good books and occasionally, I make attempts at writing. It's one way I get to diffuse the many voices in my head.
I found out about steemit thanks to 
Did I mention that I am Nigerian ? I am. I also live in Nigeria .
I have a particular interest in our way of life and that will be the basis for my writing here.
I am looking forward to meeting new people and learning from them, on this platform.
To the people behind Steemit.com, you guys are great. This is a great platform for reaching out, interacting with people, and getting your voice heard.
That steemit is a decentralized platform that exists on the blockchain is what also gives me great joy. I know that my data is safe of the blockchain and not been sold out by a centralized platform who breaches my privacy and gives out my confidential information at will.
I see steemit gaining more popularity in years to come and I see it changing the phase and trends of blogging and making the world a much more better place.
