My Introductory message

Hello steemit community!

Not long ago Hive account@gadol introduced me to this platform and as custom demands, as a newbie, I have to introduce myself to the platform.

I go by the name Hive account@sadatsavvy on the platform; I am a proud citizen of Ghana. I am 26years old and a student studying INTERNATIONAL MASTER OF HORTICULTURAL SCIENCE at University of Agriculture in Krakow, Poland. My interest in agriculture is something I conceived at a very tender age and I’ve done everything possible to develop myself to become an asset for my country and the world at large. In doing so, I studied Agricultural Science in the high school and passed with distinction and later became a science and mathematics teacher at Olistar junior high school. I further continued my education at Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology to read a four year bachelor’s degree programme in Agriculture (BSc. Agriculture) where I specialized in Horticulture (vegetables, fruits and ornamentals). Currently, I am studying International Master of Horticultural Science which is a joint master’s programme between three different Universities in Europe i.e University of Agriculture in Krakow-Poland, Mendelu University in Brno/Lednice - Czech Republic and Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra- Slovakia.

To boost my knowledge in the field of Agriculture, I’ve undertaken two international internships; @ Forchungszentrum julich, institute of Bio and Geo Sciences-2 Germany; @ Enno Eilers GbR, Lunen Dortmund, Germany- Where I learnt a lot on both plants and animals to increase my knowledge depth.

Throughout my education, I’ve not relinquished on my will to cause an impact. Leadership has always been a part of the journey. I served as boys’ senior prefect in Junior high school level, Dispensary prefect and Agric club president in senior high school. I then became the president of the International Association of students in Agriculture and related sciences (IAAS-KNUST) and successively the college president for the college of Agriculture and Natural resources where I represented the entire students body at KNUST parliamentary council and on several boards of the college which got me outstanding student Leader of the year nomination at NUGS –KNUST awards 2015/16. Currently, I am serving on the Exchange Quality board (EQB) at IAASWORLD (2017/18).

I am a very adventurous dude. I like traveling and have visited places of interest and beautiful scenery like; the Berlin wall, Brandenburg gate in Berlin, Potsdamer Platz and mall of Berlin, the Berlin tower , the Lednice castle and Minaret in Czech Republic, Palace Wilanow in Warsaw Poland etc

I am a fast learner and ready to adapt to every hostile environment if there is a need to acquire something worthwhile from these environments. My love for sports is something to write home about. I featured in an inter-house hockey competition way back in high school and acquired a certificate for placing 2nd. I am a staunch unregistered Manchester United faithful but I have a soft spot and sympathy for FC Barcelona because of their “tiki taka” style of play and the presence of Lionel Messi. My all-time Manchester United favorite player is Paul Scholes.
In conclusion, I want to emphasize that steemit is arguably the best social media platform I’ve known even though I have not been here for long; since one earns on a good-content-post; plagiarism is checked and minimized which request writers to produce genuine posts.

I am here to stay by producing good quality content and to contribute to the rapid enhancement, transformation, growth and development of the platform and my subsequent posts will surely attest to this.
