Yes! It’s a pleasure to finally start my journey on Steemit. My name is Saimandar, and I love making vlogs. My passion is to entertain my audience, and I’ve been doing that for over a year on my youtube channel! And I can’t wait to start doing the same, here.
I’m from Mumbai, India, and my vlogs cover anything and everything interesting that comes across my life. I fell in love with the concept of vlogging ever since I discovered Casey Neistat. I believe vlogging is a public version of the personal diary you maintain, of course, in a video format. A lot of work goes into shooting and editing every single video, but at the end of the day if I’m able to make someone smile even for a few seconds, it’s worth it. My goal is that every vlog I produce should be more entertaining and more engaging than the previous one. I shoot on my cellphone and Go Pro, and I edit on my laptop using Adobe Premiere Pro.
My passion for acting will be evident in my vlogs. I’ve acted in short movies and theater plays, and I’m always in search of opportunities to play different roles. I am a huge wrestling fan. A few of my vlogs revolve around my experience at a pro wrestling school in Punjab started by The Great Khali. I love video games, superhero movies, Michael Jackson and eating ice cream.
Honestly, I’ve hardly earned anything on youtube since the past one year. When you work hard to create every video, at a point you get discouraged. Few weeks ago a friend introduced me to Steemit, and gradually I’ve started liking this community. I’ve seen people getting rewarded for the content they create, and to me that is beautiful. Looking forward to getting used to this. Excited and nervous.
