The Dhaka-Chittagong roadway saw 42-kilometer long full back on Saturday because of overwhelming weight of vehicles, making sufferings a huge number of suburbanites.
A few hundred vehicles were stuck on the two sides on the bustling expressway extending from Madanpur of Narayanganj to Daudkandi upazila of Comilla.
Vehicles utilize through the four-path expressway need to cross two-path Daudkandi, Meghna and Kanchpur spans that backs off speed of vehicles on the parkway, an authority of interstate police said.
Shoyeb, a financier, said he began travel for Dhaka from Chittagong at 2:00 am. He achieved Daudkandi Toll court when it was 11:18 am. "Normally I cross it at a young hour toward the beginning of the day when go to Dhaka by night mentor. I don't know when I can achieve Dhaka," he included.
Abul Kalam Azad, Officer accountable for Daudlkandi Roadway Police headquarters, said the running back began on Thursday night and the circumstance did not enhance till 10 am because of substantial weights of vehicles.
"The Police are attempting to facilitate the activity development", he said.
