We always hear that a school is the second HOME of our children. It provides the basic education so that the youth will be equipped with all the necessary skills that they can use and apply in their everyday lives. The school is indeed the place where minds and hearts are shaped by their second parents who are their teachers.
San Miguel Central School or SMCS is a complete public elementary school located at Brgy. Libtong, San Miguel, Leyte, Philippines. It has a population of almost one thousand pupils from Kindergarten up to Grade Six Classes. It also provides basic education to Children with Special Needs as well as those Out-of-School Youth through the Alternative Learning Station.

As a public school, we aim for better learning among our pupils. To do this, all stakeholders join forces and work hand-in-hand towards our goal for our learners and to encourage everyone to support all the programs and projects of the Department of Education.
