Hi, my name is Saraswati and I am from India. I have been working in the social sector for over 15 years and have a passion for using sports as a tool (S4D) to deliver life skills sessions to adolescents, particularly girls, with a focus on gender, and creating safe spaces to play. My expertise in this area has allowed me to work with grassroot organizations across multiple countries to develop innovative programming and policies that empower young people and promote social inclusion.
Throughout my career, I have developed child protection and safeguarding policies for many organizations to ensure that young people are safe and protected from harm. I believe that every child has the right to a safe and nurturing environment in which they can grow and thrive.
In my free time, I enjoy running and have participated in several marathons and half-marathons. I find running to be a great way to stay healthy and reduce stress. I also enjoy watching comedy movies and find them to be a great way to unwind and laugh.
Apart from sports and movies, I love reading books and capturing good moments with my camera. I am a cat person, and since 2013, I have been fostering kittens, which is something I find truly rewarding. Being able to provide a loving home for these kittens and seeing them grow and develop is a truly heartwarming experience.
