Hello!
I’m just an average guy who loves to read and write creatively, especially fiction. I was graciously invited to join Steemit by . I also just stumbled on the Writer’s Block workshops, which look awesome and educational. I love to work on and collaborate on anything writing related.
I’ve been on Steemit for a few days, mostly just poking around to get the lay of the land, following some folks here, upvoting a few posts, and reading articles and fiction. I’ve never used something like Steemit before, so I feel sort of like a kid lost at Disneyland here - it’s huge and I don’t quite know where I’m going, but it’s too interesting and exciting to freak out now, heh. I look forward to digging in and seeing what’s going on.
I’m passionate about many subjects, and I tend to know a variety of weird or obscure things from just being curious. My favorite kind of writing is fiction, but I’ve dabbled with scripts (action, comedy, horror), poetry, and a few collaborations (please feel free to contact me and pitch your premise and terms). I’ve been published a few times in small print runs. Some of these books have traveled much farther than I ever thought they would, which is awesome. I want to publish again. I’m open to learn about writing and collaborate on written projects. Just ask.
I’ve just collaborated on an interactive tabletop role-playing adventure book with nine other authors (Return of the Blue Baron, Three Toadstools Publishing), which is currently in layout. Other indie projects are in the works! These are mostly for fun, but good practice and I’ve met several new friends and learned a lot about indie publishing and attendant legal matters.
I’m about to post more fiction here and I will be working on new material. I’m happy to speak with any of you, particularly on art and writing. I’m very intrigued by the block chain concept, and I look forward to understanding more and adding positively to this process as we go forward.
Thank you for including me on Steemit!
