I'm excited to start steeming! LOL My husband has been enjoying this social media and thinks I will too. I'm a Stay-At-Home Mom of 2 teenage boys and 1 toddler girl. I'd like to share my parenting experiences, the ups, downs, frustrations, and joys that come with raising children. I spend a lot of time cooking healthy meals, finding creative ways to budget our family finances, enjoying fun kid friendly activities, info sharing with my network of mommy friends for parenting tips, and taking care of myself when time allows. Aside from mom life, I love talking about movies, books, tv shows, my dog, lofty goals to someday grow my own vegetable garden and my crazy disfunctional parents. And that's probably just the tip of the iceberg. I'm not sure if there's a certain way to blog, but I hope it's ok to just write as if I were talking to my friends. Hence my name
. It's going to be a laid back, light hearted hodgepodge peek into my silly life. So come chat with me! 😃
As I mentioned above, Husband and I have 3 children. Here's a quick pic we took last night at a local Hackathon where my boys were competing. I don't really know what they were doing. A "coding event" is what I was told. Anyway, my boys are such good guys. Smart(asses at times), funny, well behaved, blah blah blah. Yes, I'm biased, but they really are wonderful. And that little princess I'm carrying on my back, that's the light of my life! I tell you, when you have to wait over a decade before you finally get pregnant and that new baby is a little GIRL (after 2 Boys), it feels like winning the lottery. Hubby is the nicest guy. My sweet nerd. Met when I was at University of CA, Santa Barbara. We've been together 18 years. Looking forward to another 18, at least!
I guess I should show you something I've done recently. This morning, I took my daughter to meet Santa Clause. It did not go well. He was "SCARY!!!" I felt bad, but the picture makes me laugh. I hope she won't be upset that I showed this picture to everyone I know, and now all of Steemit. Haha.
Alrighty, I'll say goodnight! Thanks for reading!
