Hello!
I'm excited to be a part of such a neat community. I learned about this platform literally two weeks ago, signed up and chalked the rest up to fate due to what I've read online about how hard it is to get an account here now-a-days. Guess the stars are aligning in my favor!
A little more about me.
My name is Stacey. I've worked from home for more than 10 years.... blogging, writing content for websites, hr/recruiting for companies, I also have a few online websites selling digital items.
Can I be honest?
Frankly, I'm tired. Even working from home has become a rat race. However, these long hours and lack of sleep are not in vain. I'm positive that it will payoff one day (soon). Hopefully, this platform be a great addition in helping to meet my financial goals much sooner because I have a bad case of wanderlust.
I'm doing all of this, so that I can spend 50% of my time exploring different countries, eventually retiring to a place like this to do absolutely nothing.
Magical right? Can't you just smell the fresh salt water as the soft breeze gently caresses your skin while you sway back and forth in that comfy hammock? There's nothing like salty skin and sandy hair.
More about me....
I have two little girls under 10 who definitely keep me motivated. I often refer to them as M&M. They are stuck together like glue but fight like cats & dogs. Well... not this nice but you get my point.
I've promised them that I would homeschool them for a year once I have some things in place financially so that we could travel to the places they read about. These little crumb snatchers remember everything, so I can't let them down! My family thinks I'm crazy, but I know that my children will be at a great advantage from these experiences. There are no books, movies or TV shows that can compare to the things they will learn and experience traveling to places like
Salar de Uyuni, Boliva in South America during fall to experience the planet's largest salt flat.
In autumn when it rains, it transforms the flat into a puddle that reflects the sky making it hard to determine where the land and sky ends.
Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall in Taiwan
Africa
And many states throughout the US.
I look forward to meeting and networking with all of you, even taking you on my journey!
