I thought I'd write an introductory post, and I thought that today would be a fitting day to post it, because today is my birthday. I hope you enjoy it :)
Be like nike, yeah just do it, ain't no other in your shoes, just strut - there's nothin' to it.
Just a little something to get you jumpin', jumpin', Pumped up on life and gettin' high off the fluid...
Coming into the world was no easy feat, a babe born light & struggling to breathe.
Learning to walk before I could run, this one aint no lightweight, no joke she's a champion.
All of life I was told that it can't be done,Shouldn't have what I have, My chance to succeed is slim to none.
But no other baller has done what I've done,To get me what I've got, I've had to create and bask in my own sun.
Son I'll tell you a story of bravery, There's no other way to say it there aint nobody on earth like me!
Now I could sit here dissin' my abilities but this rhyme aint about my disabilities, 'fact lend an ear if you please,
Because I'm about to make it white hot and kick up some steem.
Neither Epilepsy or Cerebral Palsy could keep me down, I had been given my second wind and was ridin' the lightning yo I had life by the balls,
Pleasing people aint in my blood, I ain't no angel coz I'm too damn tough. But I'm going to lay it straight and create some talk, Better sit up and pay attention since ya havin' a gawk!
Back in '84 in a country town, 7,161 peeps got shaken up when I come about.A little house of brick and mortar, My mama was stoked to now have 3 daughters.
A bratty little kid, though not the middle child, I got hung up on causing mischief & flat out drove my parents wild.
My dear old dad such a handsome lad, set himself up as a cabinet maker, My mama,a tennis ace seem to have scored herself a player.
The honeymoon short lived & mama up and went, left the state and I packed up young enough not to know what it meant.
Spent my days comin' up in the countryside, but this tale aint as gloomy as I want to recite.
Hiding away I took to climbing, immersed by the trees distracting me from the storms goin' on inside.
But a bona-fide game changer rearranged my days, epilepsy swept through and clouded up my space.
White walls and bright lights soon became my home, pain and sickness rewiring my chromosomes, or atleast that's how folks say it goes.
I'm the best in the game, Stellarbelle's my name.
Not just a pretty face man, make no mistake.
With wit quicker than a rifle firing double time,
This little ditty aint really anythin' pretty - just another day in the life.
With truth bombs going off left, right & centre,
I'm the one that you want, yeah I'm so high I've just about ascended.
Back in the schoolyard it was all a blur, some would say I was the quiet one while others would call me the enabler.
Causin' a stir was what I did best, jibin' others was the only way I could rid the angst from my chest.
The best in class all the while watching that hourglass, so I could fly away upon the ring of the bell,
It was hell bein' the outkast, coppin' shit off the other kids just 'cause I wore glasses.
Some say four eyes are better than two, Perhaps they're right as I'd've knocked out my haters save for havin' better shit to do.
Recklessly kickin' arse and checkin' names off my list, I was to make my mark on the arse's I kissed.
Now you might think I'm a rebel without a cause but the irony is that I'm the most modest bitch of all.
From staring at white walls to basking in my self made light, I'm the legend that you'll talk about for the rest of the night.
Fast Forward to the year of Y2K,Gameboys and the spicegirls,Tamagotchi's all the rage.
Had a house on the hill, yeah we were livin' large, 1 of 5 kids, 3 horses & a 2 car garage.
But these four walls held secrets, pain, sadness and regrets, so many times where I'd escape from somedays even pretend that I was dead.
Days were golden as well as bleak, Aint nobody here can replicate the lessons that I was to reap.
Nobody told me that the road ahead was to carve a legend, So I just started struttin' while they all thought I was pretending.
Bending to the scene where I shoulda ran, Yo I won't be held down by any man!
I'm the best in the game, Stellarbelle's my name.
Not just a pretty face man, make no mistake.
Quicker than a rifle firing double time,
But this little ditty aint really anythin' pretty - just another day in the life.
With truth grenades going off left, right & centre,
I'm the one that you want, yeah I'm so high I've just about ascended.
They say legends are born and carved from greatness and integrity, Some would even say that I'm a mystery.
Effortlessly unique I'm perfectly incomplete, so many puzzle pieces comprised of different reasons, I'm not the wind but all the seasons.
Illusions of grandeur caused me to cave, danger was just about my middle name, romancing stoners but feeling no pain.
I kept my name throughout many tests of fate, shake off the bullets that rain while simultaneously maintaining my flame.
Names be droppin' me like self esteem but I just cannonballed and propelled from all this jealousy.
No matter how many times life wants to test, stress and atest me I'm always going to be the best - it's in my destiny!
Invest some time in my mind, in time you'll unwind to be reminded of what I'm trying to recite.
This thing called life is a crazy ride, ya'll better hold on or else risk losing your damn mind.
Self-addressed,self-suppressed,self-expressed,and self-confessed,
I attest that when at my best I'm still peering into the mirror glowering at my reflection's protest.
Modest though it's true my mind often overrules my moral point of view, Come at me if you know what I'm sayin',
This little rhyme of mine's got so much sass that it's keepin' its own time,
This aint no ego boost, no all I'm aimin' to do is for you to take a walk in my dainty ballerina shoes.
Should you choose to follow me pretty soon you'll see that I'm the realest of the real, there's some stellar ladies here, but none of them quite match up with me.
So there you have it folks, we'll call that a wrap, Hell I'd like to see some of you others mc's beat that.
Yo don't be scared, I mean I have no fear, I'm just a girl celebrating my yesteryear.
I hope you liked my little freestyle, linguistical projectiles making a read worthwhile.
Something different, with a little fun, showing that what you think you'll become.
