I was talking to a friend when he showed me this site called Steemit. I'm like cool! How do I sign up, and he said, "Put in your information, it will be approved in a week or so." Well, I did that, and it got approved in three days.
So I sat on it. For 21 days. Because I had no idea what I wanted to do with it, or what I should do with it. There was a lot to read up on, with all the cryptocurrency stuff, and etiquette, and what not.
So today, of all days, I decide to do this.
(Oh and since every steemit guide ever said to do this, without me knowing if it's relevant or not, I'll put this here.)
Anyway, back on topic:
I'm Surg, I might decide to say my real name eventually. If I ever link my twitter, you'll find it fairly quickly.
I like to make games, art, music. So I've decided to try to keep a consistent Gamedev blog of sorts, where I'll give updates on what I'm working on, ideas and lifestyle choices to work by, and much more. I'm a total nerd over things, and you might see that pop up in my posts over time.
I hope to see you guys around, and even if you aren't someone who games or codes a lot, I still encourage you to follow me, as you might learn something new.
Until next time (3 hours),
-Surg
Oh and P.S: Tell me if i'm wrong, but if I get this right, you have STEEM Power to upvote things, which gives that upvote some portion of a pool of STEEM, which you can a. covert to steem power, or b. convert to steem dollars, which allows you to change to BTC/USD/etc. It's a bit complicated over my head, but after reading I think I get it. (Also tell me if upvoting yourself is a horrible thing to do, cause I get quite confused over new enviroments like this)
